Now recruiting for embedded software engineers & data scientists in Warsaw
CAMBRIDGE, UK and WARSAW, POLAND – 16 September 2019 – UltraSoC CEO Rupert Baines visited Warsaw last month to officially open the company’s new development center, as the company kick-started the process of recruiting a team of software engineers and data scientists to support the growth of its embedded analytics business worldwide.
The new team, which is headed up by Director of Systems Engineering Marcin Hlond (pictured left), will be located at the WeWork Warsaw shared workspace, a strategic location that gives UltraSoC access to talent from the top technical universities in Poland. The new facility will enable the company to tap into the rich local pool of engineering talent and to support its growing customer base in Europe and worldwide. The electronics sector has been highlighted by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency as one of the fastest growing industries.
Last year, Marcin and his team participated in the Open Source Conference ORConf 2018 in Gdansk, where it was evident just how much local activity and resources UltraSoC could tap into by establishing its own presence in Poland. Next month, the company will showcase its capabilities in the cybersecurity market, as part of the UK DIT mission at Cybersec (Katowice, October 29-30); potential recruits can also meet Marcin and members of the UltraSoC team at the 23rd Job Fair, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology (October 14 – 15).
Speaking during his visit, Rupert Baines commented: “Poland is the ideal location for this expansion, which supplements our growing team at our HQ in Cambridge, UK. UltraSoC’s embedded monitoring and analytics provides insights into not only the operation of the chip’s hardware, but also into real-world behaviors of the software on the device, and essentially, into the whole system into which it is embedded. The benefits and applications of UltraSoC’s embedded analytics range from safety and security, to automotive, IoT, communications and at-scale computing.
