Off Grid Energy, the leading supplier of energy storage solutions for temporary power and behind the meter grid support, has come together with Vinci Facilities to power EMEX’s Theatre One at the London ExCeL with battery technology for the entire conference, demonstrating what the future of energy management could look like.

“EMEX is a meeting place for Energy Managers from major companies to discuss and learn about current developments in the world of Energy supply and management,” said Danny Jones, CEO at Off Grid Energy. “By co-sponsoring a seminar theatre and using our technology to power it throughout the whole conference allows us to demonstrate the clean, silent power available from our products in front of major decision makers for the future of Energy management.”

At EMEX, Off Grid Energy will also be showcasing its latest battery technology, including the gridtogo™ POWERCUBE in Theatre One and the gridtogo™ NANO at Vinci Facilities’ Stand C74. The POWERCUBE ranges between 15 and 250kVA as standard and is capable of being scaled to 1MVA. Battery capacity is available between 45kWhrs up to 1MWhrs and larger on request. The NANO is available in outputs from 400W up to 2kW and with stored energy between 0.75 and 5kWhrs, the hand-portable units offer an alternative to a petrol generator. Units can be charged from the mains, a vehicle, a generator or solar PV.

As with all new technology, finding how to align with the establishment whilst educating and getting buy-in from decision makers, is as important as the impact of the technology itself.”

Off Grid Energy offers a broad range of products that cover needs as modest as running a computer through to powering entire construction sites. The company, which is delivering environmental and financial benefits in the construction and events industries, saves its customers many thousands of pounds in fuel costs while also reducing pollution emissions and noise from construction sites.

EMEX 2017 visitors can find Off Grid Energy in Theatre One at the London ExCeL, November 22-23.
