LMI Aerospace Processing Operation Receives Missouri Water Environment Association 2017 Silver Pretreatment Award

CUBA, Mo., April 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — LMI Aerospace’s processing operation in Cuba, Mo., has received a Missouri Water Environment Association 2017 Silver Pretreatment Award. The association issues the award annually to recognize industries for outstanding achievement in wastewater pretreatment.

“We are honored that the City of Cuba nominated us and that Missouri Water Environment Association has recognized our efforts to help ensure the quality of our local wastewater treatment system,” said Rob Will, LMI Cuba general manager.

LMI Cuba performs anodizing and metal finishing for military and commercial products for the aerospace and other industries. The company in recent years has made significant investments for facility upgrades and improvements associated with wastewater treatment, handling and monitoring. It also provides the City of Cuba daily access to data to monitor its wastewater treatment area.
