LastMileLink Technologies named in European RetailTech Top 50

24 April 2018, London, UK – LastMileLink Technologies, part of the CitySprint Group, today announced it has been named in the 2018 FUTR’s European RetailTech Top 50 Report.

In the first European edition, FUTR has named LastMileLink Technologies one of 50 start-ups with the potential to cause real disruption in the sector. FUTR’s list provides an up-to-the-moment lens into the future of retail and the early stage start-ups that are shaping that future.

Working with the group’s retail brand, On the dot, LastMileLink Technologies is disrupting the final mile delivery space by offering dynamic timeslot booking APIs for retailers of all sizes. For local businesses with ambitions to extend the storefront from metres to miles and for enterprise-sized retailers wanting a seamless customer experience, LastMileLink’s technology can help retailers thrive in this extremely competitive environment.

The award comes at a time when LastMileLink Technologies is experiencing rapid growth. In 2017 alone, the company integrated 47 new clients, closed 937 service desk tickets, delivered 1,000 deployments and processed 100,000 deliveries.

Santosh Sahu, CEO of LastMileLink Technologies and On the dot, said, “This accolade from FUTR speaks to our growing presence in the retail space and our deep understanding of changing consumer demand. Same-day delivery and very late in-flight changes are the new normal. The rise of Amazon is not only costing retailers their existing customers but is also stifling their ability to attract new, millennial audiences. Our machine learning algorithms mean we are at the forefront of the innovations in retail technology that will make these possible, reimagining the online delivery experience for consumers and driving greater efficiency for retailers across the board. We’re helping our customers to compete with giants, cost-effectively, enabling rapid delivery and ultimately, powering the convenience and choice that consumers now expect”.

In 2015, LastMileLink Technologies launched On the dot. The proposition is simple – 1-hour timeslot delivery centred around a delivery window that suits, and is chosen by, the shopper. To really offer shoppers the ability to take advantage of one of the first delivery options centred around the convenience of them, and not the provider, LastMileLink Technologies has approached smaller independent high-street retailers.

This strategy is two-pronged; shoppers benefit from the ultimate in delivery convenience, while local retailers can offer a unique shopping experience and create a competitive advantage through delivery, all without integration or costly development work. Retailers can take deliveries in-store and over the phone and simply book jobs via their store Retailer Portal account.
