Hawick, Scotland, March 26, 2019 – Emtelle, the leading global manufacturer of blown fibre, cabling and ducted solutions are pleased to announce it has been awarded a multi-million-pound contract by CityFibre for an ongoing supply of a range of innovative and sustainable solutions. This comes as CityFibre continues to dramatically increase its footprint as it rolls out a competitive wholesale fibre infrastructure across the UK.
The contract includes the supply of uPVC primary duct and Polyethylene Micro-Duct solutions, supplies critical to the CityFibre’s Fibre to the Home (FTTH) deployments. Emtelle manufactures and supplies throughout Europe and has an unrivalled capacity in the UK and beyond, supporting CityFibre’s aggressive build programme and aligning with the key CityFibre requirements.
Emtelle is the dominant UK supplier across a full range of passive fibre optic infrastructure solutions; it’s reputation for supporting large scales roll outs, deliver innovative solutions that address the key issues of building complex large scale Fibre to the Point (FTTP) roll out projects has been proven repeatedly in the field.
