Two Blind Brothers Are Curing Blindness with Clothing

NEW YORK, June 15, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Two Blind Brothers, the revolutionary cause-driven clothing brand selling luxury casualwear, has launched its e-commerce site. The brand is immediately distinguished for its fabrics and the “feel” of its apparel. Founders Bryan and Bradford Manning are both affected by macular degeneration and pledge 100% of proceeds to medical research to cure blindness.

“This cause is very close to us,” said co-founder Bradford Manning. “We’ve been lucky to have each other and been able to thrive despite the visual impairment. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many who have disabilities. As a board member at the Foundation for Fighting Blindness (FFB) I was inspired to take action to fund research. People affected with blindness experience much of the world through their fingers and we bring that same emphasis and attention to the fabrics we use at Two Blind Brothers.”

“We’re very excited about the potential for growth and impact of Two Blind Brothers,” added co-founder Bryan Manning. “We’ve received an outpouring of support from social media and are striving to create a community around the fight for a cure. We have 50,000 hits and counting on a video we recently released on Facebook and have already sold out of certain styles. We’re happy to be producing in New York, creating ethical luxury products that look and feel great.”

About Two Blind Brothers

Bryan and Bradford Manning founded the luxury casualwear brand Two Blind Brothers (http://www.twoblindbrothers.com) as a way to fund the clinical trials of medical research on blindness. The brothers are personally affected by Stargardt disease—a type of macular degeneration that results in progressive vision loss. Bradford is on the board of directors at the FFB, which has a strong track record in identifying and funding successful projects. The men’s casualwear brand features luxury shirts with a metal plate detail and Braille engraving. The clothes are produced in New York with a high level of craftsmanship.
