TRACY GLOVER GLASS LIGHTING DESIGNER LAUNCHES NEW DESIGNS FOR 2016

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Aug. 29, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Tracy Glover, the Rhode Island-based, hand-blown glass designer introduces new designs to her popular collection. As head of Tracy Glover Studio, she designs each piece and works with her team of highly skilled glassblowers to create every work of art.

Newest to Tracy’s offerings are the Teardrop, Metropolis, Lucia and Koi collections, with new pieces added to the popular Blackburn collection this spring and summer. Extending her tabletop accessory offerings, Tracy adds a completely new category to her brand with two Terrarium designs; Cloche and Gourd.

Many TGS designs are highly customizable, making each piece truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Every piece of work is made by hand in the Tracy Glover Studio river-side glass foundry.

About Tracy Glover
Tracy Glover uses traditional Italian techniques to craft her exuberant glassworks. Each is uniquely handblown to order in her Pawtucket, RI studio.  Tracy has a glassmaking BFA from RISD. She honed her craft in a 13th century Belgian convent’s crystal factory and Dale Chihuly’s Pilchuck School, where she was mentored by Venetian maestri-in-residence.  Delighting in the physicality of the process, it’s no coincidence she is an avid oarsman, rowing daily at dawn. The prismatic meeting of sunlight and tides isinvariably echoed in her translucent, faceted glass designs.
