LINX Announce New Year Port Fee Reductions of 15% on its two London LANs and at US exchange LINX NoVA

World first as LINX completes migration to new disaggregated LON2 network model using EVPN routing technology on open network hardware

The London Internet Exchange (LINX) have announced that it has completed the migration of its LON2 platform to a new disaggregated network model that uses EVPN technology, the first IXP anywhere in the World to do so. LINX announce price cuts of up to 40% on port fees at IXManchester

LINX, the leading European provider of Internet interconnect services, announced at the LINX98 member conference on 21st August that it is to significantly reduce 10GE and 100GE port fees at its regional exchange, IXManchester.
