Record-breaking RADOX® High Power Charging (HPC) system will be on display, along with HUBER+SUHNER’s cable solutions, high voltage distribution unit and RADOX® EV-C automotive connectivity system.

The latest developments in Electrical Vehicle (EV) technology will be showcased by HUBER+SUHNER, as it continues to drive e-mobility solutions forward and solve key challenges that EV drivers are facing.

Taking place in Stuttgart, Germany, from May 7-9, the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo will play host to an exclusive demonstration of the company’s RADOX® HPC system – which allows the power-throughput of a charging system to be multiplied and has a charging time below 15 minutes for an 80% State of Charge. Due to its integrated cooling system, the RADOX® HPC system offers a much smaller cable cross section in comparison to the traditional high-powered cable option. The cables are also thin, flexible, lightweight and easy to handle.

“The RADOX® HPC system is high-performing with low installation and service costs, and offers customers a simple and easy handling experience making it the go-to product for EV drivers,” said Max Göldi, LF Market Manager Industry at HUBER+SUHNER. “We are looking forward to presenting our products at the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and demonstrating the key features that really set us apart from our competitors.”

Also on display will be the high voltage distribution unit (HVDU) and the Connectivity Solution RADOX® EV-C. The HVDU is an extremely customisable high voltage distribution solution, that ensures power distribution between all high voltage components within an electric vehicle. The HVDU is an ideal solution for customers who require the highest quality in demanding and harsh environments.

The RADOX® EV-C has been developed by HUBER+SUHNER using the company’s years of experience in providing connectivity technology for high voltage systems. As a wire-to-device system, it connects high-voltage devices within vehicles in a compact and flexible way and offers 360 degree EMC shielding and environmental protection.

“Our HVDU is perfect for any electrical vehicle that needs to distribute high-voltage within the respective HV-on board supply systems, whether it operates on land, water or in the air,” explained Göldi. “Customers who combine HVDU with RADOX® EV-C will benefit from smaller space requirements, with a safer and more efficient connection between the HVDU and high voltage units. Our RADOX® EV-C systems are available as made-to-order assemblies or pigtails, as part of our commitment to ensuring customer needs are always fulfilled.”

Attendees visiting the HUBER+SUHNER stand at the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo will also have the opportunity to see its highly flexible RADOX® battery cables, RADOX® Anticapillary cables and its Formula E-engine with RADOX® EV-C.

“HUBER+SUHNER has continuously proven itself as a key global player in the EV market and we’re looking forward to showcasing our systems at the event,” said Göldi.

Max Göldi, LF Market Manager Industry at HUBER+SUHNER, will present a showcase demonstration of the RADOX® HPC High Power Charging system on 7 May at 2:30pm CET at booth 318.
